1. It's YOUR Big Day!
Weddings are a beautiful time where friends and family come together to celebrate the love of two individuals... But let's be honest, you've dreamed of this day your whole life, don't settle. There are amazing and unique options out there that can create a day that embodies everything you hoped and dreamed for!
2. Enjoy it!
The day will go by in a flash, make sure to spot and look around. Make sure you build in time for you and your fiancé to enjoy one another on this amazing day. Most couples forget this part and it can change the entire dynamic of the day. We recommend setting aside time after the ceremony to take it all in and spend some time together. If after the ceremony is rushed, think about using part of cocktail hour to step away from the action.
3. Find Competent People.
The last thing you want to worry about on your big day is incompetent individuals. Find wedding professionals that can handle themselves and add to the day instead of taking away from it. This is crucial to alleviate stress and may even be substituted for #1.

4. Count on Family.
Most wedding professionals don't know who "Jimmy" and "Sue" are in your family. It helps to find a Family Member or Friend who can be a main point of contact for the day. Introduce them to your wedding professionals and have them help coordinate what they may need. Wedding Coordinators are fantastic for this job as well, but if it is a small wedding and they are not in the budget, this can be a game changer.
5. Know that it will Run Behind
Nothing is going to start without you... This is your day and you are the STAR of the Show. Most weddings we work at run 5-20 minutes behind. It is our job as a wedding professional to aware you of the time and stay on schedule for our task, but at the end of the day, you set the pace and we will work with you!
